Bandeau is a swatch display created for Ligne Roset. It enhances customer and employee interaction in the store while keeping all the fabric swatches neatly organized.

RESEARCH
We visited different stores to examine the effectiveness of interaction between our client and their customers and to explore the diversity of fabric swatch displays. We found them to be unorganized, not intuitive/user friendly universally.

PROTOTYPE
The intensive prototyping process consisted of:
- Curving the stainless steel flat bars into shape and welding the base together.
- Polishing the pieces before assembly.
- Welding the structure in layers.
- Attaching the interior rods for sliding mechanism.
- Grinding and polishing additional welds.
- Taping the metal frame to spray paint the interior with a black matte finish.
